Field Visit – Department of BM
The Department of Business Management recently completed an enriching and highly successful field visit, offering students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to real-world business operations. Organized by the Circle of Business Management under the guidance of department lecturers, the visit took place on 30th December 2024 and included tours of three prominent organizations, providing students with invaluable insights into diverse industrial processes.
The visit commenced at the Koggala BOI Zone, where students explored the operations of two leading companies: Star Garments Pvt Ltd. and Ocean Voyager Pvt Ltd. At Star Garments, students delved into the intricacies of the apparel production chain, gaining a deeper understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in the garment industry.
