Outbound Training Program- 2024
The Outbound Training Program (OBT) with a Bonfire Night was an action and activity-based behavioral training intervention for HRM-specialized undergraduates, organized by the Circle of Human Resource Development, Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Management and Finance, in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit. It was held on the 23rd of October 2024 from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm at the university premises. The program was hosted by Ms. Pubudu Mallawarachchi, Career Guidance Counselor from the Career Guidance Unit, with the morning physical session led by Ms. Dilupa Priyadarshani, Instructor in Physical Education from the Physical Education Unit, University of Ruhuna. more

The main focus of the Outbound Training approach was to impart learning on organizational needs, particularly in areas of essential soft skills including leadership, team building, self-confidence, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
