BIOGRAPHY

Mrs. Lakma Deshani Algewaththa is a Lecturer attached to the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management and Finance. She has obtained her first-degree B.Sc. Entrepreneurship (Special) with a first-class honors from University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2015. She completed Master of Science in Management Degree (MSc) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a MERIT award in 2018. She has completed Certificate Level I and II at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and has obtained Diploma in English from ICBT Southern Campus. At present she is conducting lectures on Venture Creation, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Venture Strategies, Creativity and Innovation, Micro Finance, Business Development Services and Consultancy Skills, Operations Research and Project Management. She is currently reading for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Business School, The University of Queensland, Australia. Her research interests focus on the areas of firm entrepreneurial behaviour/orientation (private and public), dynamic capabilities and innovation based competitive strategy, big data analytics and innovation
