Poson Palette 2024 – Inter-Faculty Online Artwork Competition
The Circle of Human Resource Development (CHRD) of the Department of HRM organized Palette-2024, an online art competition with the theme "Natural Radiance of Poson". This competition attracted a wide range of artworks from undergraduates at the University of Ruhuna. The objective of the event was to provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents and encourage reflection on the spiritual significance of Poson Poya, as well as improve their mental wellness.
The competition featured in two categories: Most Creative and Most Popular. The Most Creative Category recognized student submissions that showed exceptional originality, artistic vision, and a unique interpretation of the theme. The Most Popular Category acknowledged the artwork that resonated the most with the online community, receiving the most votes from viewers. A professional judging panel evaluated the submissions. The winners in each category were awarded with cash prizes at the closing ceremony held at the Faculty of Management and Finance.
