Shining Stars: Celebrating Success at the 30th Convocation
The 30th convocation of University of Ruhuna marked a significant milestone in the history of the Department of Human Resource Management (HRM), as it proudly presented two prestigious gold medals, commending outstanding achievements and academic excellence in the field of Human Resource Management.
Miss. Chamani Nandasena (MF/2018/5336) was honored with the Deshamanya Dr. Nihal Jinasena Memorial Gold Medal in recognition of her exceptional academic journey, achieving a first-class (Honours) Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Her remarkable accomplishments, notably the highest overall Grade Point Average made her as a deserving recipient in the graduating batch of 2023.
The inclusion of the CIPM Gold Medal at this convocation emphasized the department's ongoing commitment to recognizing outstanding achievements. This prestigious accolade was awarded to Miss. John Linton Kingsy Taniya (MF/2018/5468), with a second class (upper division) for securing the highest marks in the course unit of Human Resource Management (BBA 12033) in the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Human Resource Management degree program graduating in 2023.
