BIOGRAPHY

K.G. Priyashantha is working as a lecturer attached to the Department of Management and Entreprrenuership, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna.He obtained his basic degree from Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna in 2006. He obtained postgraduated diploma in Labour Studies from Faculty of Graduate Studies , University of Colombo in 2008. He earned his master degree from University of Agder, Kristiansand Norway in 2011. In the year 2010, he was awarded by Young HR minds Award at the International HR conference organized by by the Institute of Personnel Management for the paper presented on Talent Management: Attraction and Retention. Currently he is teaching Employee Resourcing and Training and Development courses at the Department.His research interests are withing the area s of Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management.
