BIOGRAPHY

Professor Thusitha Gunawardana is the Former Dean of Faculty of Management and Finance at University of Ruhuna in Matara, Sri Lanka (2016 May – 2020 Feb). Presently, he is serving as the Director, Career Guidance Unit, University of Ruhuna. Professor Gunawardana completed his Ph.D. at University of Nordland in Norway. He has a MBA from the University of Agder, Norway and the Oregon State University, USA. The University of Ruhuna is awarded the Gold medal for academic excellence and Graduated with a First Class Honors for his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (Specialized in Marketing). His research interest focuses on distribution channel and power relationships in collectivistic countries. He has authored a book and published articles. He has presented papers in international conferences.
