Undergraduate Research Forum

The Undergraduate Research Forum (URF) creates a platform for the undergraduates who are
undertaking their bachelor’s at any of the higher education institutes in the world to showcase
their valuable independent and or collaborative research findings. Undergraduates may have
done some research works as partial fulfilment of their in-class assessments, independent
studies, community project, creative project, or experiential learning etc.
Idea Cloud 2022

Idea Cloud is a business start-up idea competition where tertiary education students and school level students can pitch their innovative ideas that provide solutions for social and economic development in Sri Lanka as one of the efforts of the faculty is organized annually. Idea Cloud 2022 is the fourth consecutive year in which Idea Cloud will be rolled out. Business Forum 2022

The Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna together with industry experts will host the Business Forum on 4th August 2022 in parallel to ICME main conference at the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Ruhuna. The forum provides the platform for entrepreneurs to share views and voices under the theme of “Promoting Resilience and Sustainability of SMEs”. This Business forum mainly targeting the small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the southern province to facilitate fruitful discussion with successful entrepreneurs regarding how to improve the resilience in order to recover from unpredictable incidents.
